SOS questions
Is the SOS really free?
Yes. SOS is free on every plan, including the free one, and it stays that way.
Does SOS work if I paused sharing?
Yes. Pausing takes you off the map, but holding the SOS button still sends your location to your circle.
Who receives my SOS?
Everyone in the circle you have open. If you belong to several circles, open the one you want to reach first.
Does the SOS app call emergency services?
No. It alerts your family; it doesn’t contact emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first.
